Father’s Day Breakfast – 31 August 2018
Yes, it’s that time again! To recognise all the wonderful things our dads do, St Luke’s will be hosting a Father’s Day breakfast. Breakfast will be served at 7.30am. All fathers are invited for a bacon and egg burger, tea and coffee with their children. St Luke’s will have a coffee van for those that would like a ‘real’ coffee.
Please RSVP to the office if you’re able to attend for catering requirements.
PS: Mums are always welcome to attend.
Year 3 Parents BYOD iPad Information Night
The upcoming BYOD iPad Parent Information Night has been postponed to Week 8, 6 September 2018. We have chosen to postpone this information evening, due to unconfirmed pricing from our suppliers and their negotiation with their suppliers.
We will keep parents informed throughout the term and remainder of the year.
St Luke’s has a Twitter account! The purpose of this account is to publicise the wonderful things our staff and students do and share with a global audience! How can you support us? Follow and retweet our amazing posts!
NAPLAN is moving online. This means moving NAPLAN from the current paper-based tests to computer-based assessments. The transition to NAPLAN Online will commence from 2019.
Our school will be participating in the SRT (School Readiness Test) next week for Years 3 and 5. This assessment is to ensure that our school’s infrastructure will be able to support NAPLAN Online, and additionally on a national level, that their infrastructure will be able to support all Year 3, 5, 7, and 9 students Australia wide.
Please note, that no data will be provided to the school or parents, its sole purpose is to ensure that the platforms will hold for 2019. More information can found at https://www.nap.edu.au/online-assessment/FAQs
