SOCIAL WORKER NEWS
Behavioural consequences are a parent’s best friends. When consistently applied, behavioural consequences will improve kids’ behaviour and increase personal responsibility. Please click on the link below for some helpful tips and advice.

Good luck to all the runners who will be participating in the State Cross Country at Mt Claremont this Friday. The children have trained well and have a great opportunity to be part of a very special event. All runners should be at school by 8.30 on Friday.
Thanks to Mrs Panizza who helped set up the visit by two Perth Wildcats players on Wednesday, an experience enjoyed by all the basketballers who will be playing in an Interschool Carnival on AUGUST 30th. This carnival will include Flagbelt Rugby and we need extra parent help as we have so many teams! A note for participants will go home Thursday.

We are looking for a couple of people to help out with Tuesday morning counting for pie days this term, as a number of mums have had to pull out because of work commitments.
You don’t need to have any experience as its super easy to learn. It is up in the top kitchen straight after school drop, and it doesn’t take long, only for about 45minutes.
Please help, it can only run smoothly when we have enough volunteers to lend a hand, and while we have enough fabluous mums to make do, as the saying goes “Many hands make light work.”
Please email email@example.com, or talk to one of the other volunteers.

ST LUKE’S NETBALL CLUB
At the conclusion of this year’s 2018 winter netball season, most of the current Committee Members of the St Luke’s Netball Club will be resigning their positions. The positions vacating are those of President, Vice President, Trophy Co-Ordinator, Property Manager/Player Rewards Co-Ordinator and Team Photo Day Co-Ordinator.
This is now an opportunity for anyone interested in being involved in the Club at this level for the 2019 winter netball season to step forward and take on a position.
We all love to see our children involved in playing netball and being part of a netball team. Please consider being a part of the team that makes that possible for our children.
I saw something the other day (not sure who penned the quote initially) but it read something like this……………Volunteers are not paid because they are worthless but because they are priceless.
For all enquiries or to request further information about the Committee Positions, please email the Club at Stlukesnetball.firstname.lastname@example.org.
