Thank you for considering St Luke’s Catholic Primary as an education option for your child.

We encourage you to attend one of our school tours so that you and your child can determine if we are the right fit for your family. We offer tours throughout the year. To express your interest in attending our next tour please contact our enrolments officer on 9306 6600 or complete the form on our home page.

Kindergarten Application

We will commence interviewing for Kindergarten placements two years ahead of time. You are encouraged to lodge your child’s application when your child turns 2.

All siblings are required to submit an application for enrolment.

Upon lodgement of your child’s enrolment application and payment of the non-refundable $55 application fee, your child’s name is placed on our future student list. This does not mean automatic acceptance. All enrolments are subject to an interview with the Principal.

3 Year Old- Pre Kindy Program

Pre-Kindy is an educational program for children aged three years. Play is the instrument for teaching and learning in our program. It can be both spontaneous and planned play experiences.


Pre Kindy currently costs $65 per day, where you have a choice of either a Thursday and or Friday. There are no concessions accepted with this program. This program is very popular, and classes are capped at 20 students per day.

Applying for Places in Other Years

We accept applications for other year levels at any time. Due to high demand for school placements at St Luke’s Catholic Primary we encourage you to place your child on our waitlist if a class is currently full.  Please contact the Enrolment Officer to see if we have vacancies.

Interview Process

A tour of our school is part of the interview process.  Children are expected to attend along with either both or one of their Parents or Caregivers.

After the Principal has accepted your application, a letter of offer will be emailed out to you for your son or daughter. To secure your child’s place, please sign the acceptance letter and pay the Enrolment Deposit within 14 days.

Should you change your mind the Enrolment deposit is non-refundable. This amount will be credited to your child’s first year school fee (not including Pre Kindy).

What Happens After Your Interview?

In Term 4 the year prior to your child’s commencement, you will be invited to attend a parent only information session regarding the commencement of your Kindergarten child.

Your child will be invited to attend a separate Move up Morning, which is an opportunity to meet their Teacher, Education Assistants and other students in the class. Parents are invited to stay to meet other families.

Change of Circumstances Before Starting

Should you have a change in circumstances such as address, contact mobile numbers or email address please ensure you keep us up to date.  As positions at St Luke’s Catholic Primary are highly sought after should you decide you no longer require a position within our school, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the position to another family on our waitlist.

HCC Tuition Fee Discount Scheme

To access the Health Care Card Assistance Scheme, an eligible means-tested Centrelink card must be presented to our Administration Office with an HCC Tuition Fee Discount Scheme form completed each year. Cards in the Digital Wallet are acceptable via email. The card must be in the name of the parent /guardian who is responsible for the payment of fees and will list children covered by the card.
