We are a double stream Catholic Primary School with classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6, with an extra class in Year 2 in 2024. Our school is situated on a coastal plain, 7 kilometres from the Indian Ocean and 17 kilometres north of the city of Perth.

Our Rainbow Values of Attentiveness, Inclusiveness, Personal Best, Courage, Forgiveness, Service and Loyalty are derived from the gospel of St Luke and underpin everything that we do. These values define who we are as a Catholic school community and guide us in nurturing our students' faith, growth and development.

Just as a rainbow is a beautiful spectrum of colours that come together to create a harmonious whole, our Rainbow Values shape our students' character and outlook on life. We believe that by instilling these values in our students, we are preparing them to become well-rounded individuals who will contribute positively to society.

Strong parish/school connections are enhanced through the close relationship we have with our parish priest. We believe that by grounding our students in faith, compassion, and a strong moral compass, we are empowering them to navigate the complexities of the world with resilience and optimism.

We are proud of our partnership with the Telethon Speech and Hearing Centre which has had an outpost at our school since its inception. Together we support all the children in our school. A diverse curriculum with specialist areas of Science, Visual Arts, Dance, Physical Education and Auslan offers something for everyone.  In addition we have support and extension programs.

We recognise the crucial role that parents play in their children's education, and we view parents as partners in this journey. We believe that a strong partnership between school and home is essential to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for our students. Together, we can provide our children with the guidance, love, and encouragement they need to flourish academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our Parents and Friends and Fathering Groups are pivotal to the building of relationships across our community.

We thank you for entrusting us with the education and development of your children. We look forward to partnering with you to create a nurturing and enriching educational experience for each student at St Luke’s. Together, we can inspire a brighter future filled with hope and promise for each student by living our motto ‘ Learn, Love and Serve'.

God Bless
