Private Music Tuition
At St Luke’s Catholic Primary School, we value the positive impact that music education has on student learning, confidence, and wellbeing. In addition to our classroom music curriculum, families are welcome to access a range of independent music tuition programs offered on site by external, qualified music tutors.

These independent programs operate during school hours, depending on the tutor’s schedule and availability. Lessons may include instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, voice, depending on the tutors engaged at any given time.

Key Information

Independent music lessons are arranged directly between families and the external tutor.

Tutors manage their own enrolment processes, fees, timetables, and communication.

Students may be withdrawn from class for lesson times. Classroom learning continues as normal.

Families are responsible for ensuring children attend their scheduled lessons.

Any changes, absences, or concerns should be communicated directly to the tutor.
While these programs take place on school grounds, they are not administered by the school. We support and facilitate access to the space as a service to families, but all instructional matters remain the responsibility of the individual tutor.

Participation in independent music lessons is optional. We encourage families to consider whether these opportunities suit their child’s interests, readiness, and overall learning schedule.
